Celebrate Passover at Sinai 

Monday morning, March 29 at the Synagogue

Siyyum Bechorim  7:00 am to 8:30 am

Come observe the Siyyum Bechorim – Breaking the Firstborns' Fast – with a morning service, study session and refreshments. Firstborn men, women, boys and girls are all encouraged to attend. Non-first-borns welcome, too.

Burn Your Chametz 8:30 am to 10:00 am

Bring the last of your crumbs to the shul parking lot to burn before Passover. Rabbi Berkenwald will show you how.

Second Seder - All Are Welcome

Tuesday, March 30 at 8:00 pm. Led by Rabbi Josh Berkenwald.  Join us to re-experience the exodus from Egypt with a  participatory, and interactive program and a delicious catered, kosher-for-Passover meal. It's a great way to have a delightful Passover celebration without a lot of fuss. Bring your out-of-town family! Help us welcome community members who may be far from home for the holiday! Erev Passover: Monday, March 29, 7 - 8:30 am : Siyym Bechorim - morning service and study session, followed by refreshments. We will also observe Break the Siyyum Bechorim  - Breaking the First Borns' Fast.
Erev Passover: Monday, March 29, 8:30 - 10:00 am; Burn your Chametz in the Sinai Parking lot.
1st Day: Tuesday, March 30 at 9 am
2nd Day: Wednesday, March 31 at 9 am

4th Day : Friday, April 2 at 6:00 pm- Kabbalat Shabbat followed by Passover dinner 

5th Day: Shabbat, April 3 at 9 am
6th Day: Sunday Minyan, April 4 at 9 am
7th Day: Monday, April 5 at 9 am
8th Day: Tuesday, April 6 at 9 am (includes Yizkor Memorial Service)

 

5th Night Passover Dinner, Tuesday April 2nd

You will be tired of cooking Passover food by then! Come to Shabbat and Passover dinner on Friday, April 2 following 6:00 pm services.
Regular price for Dinner: RSVP after March 29: $24.00 per adult (age 13 and up) and $10.00 per child age 5-12 (free for children under age 5). $65 maximum per family.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 

Project Noah:

Donate Kosher-for-Passover food items for distribution by Jewish Family Services of Silicon Valley. Contributions of the following Kosher for Passover items would be greatly appreciated: Gefilte fish, horseradish, jam, candies, honey, latke mix, potato starch, grape juice, matzoh ball soup in a jar, matzoh, macaroons, cookies, matzoh meal, cake meal, and tea. A food barrel is in the Sinai foyer through March 25th.
 

Kashering of Sinai Kitchen:

Wednesday, March 24 from 9 am -2 pm. Volunteers needed for 2 hours shift to assist Rabbi Berkenwald with the task of kashering the kitchen for Passover. Please call the office if you are able to help.
