7th Grade B'nei Mitzvah Class Project: Sunday, February 23, 8:30 am - 12:00 noon. Sinai students and parent chaperones will be visiting Life Moves Villa Family Shelter at 184 S. 11th Street in San Jose. The 7th graders will bring and serve breakfast to all the residents, then play games, read stories, and do an arts and crafts project with the school-age child residents. A Life Moves staff member will speak to the students about homelessness. Rabbi Berkenwald will do a lesson on the Jewish view of our responsibility to take care of others.
