USY

 United Synagogue Youth (USY) is Conservative Judaism's high school youth group, and we have a chapter at Sinai, SJCUSY.

 Congregation Sinai USY (SJCUSY) is a part of New Frontier which is the Northern California (and Reno, Nevada) region of USY and Kadima. It is 1 of the 17 different regions in USY-the United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism (USCJ) youth movement.

Over the course of the year SJCUSY has many events that range from lounge nights to lock in to Shabbatons. These events are designed to build life-long relationships, foster Jewish identity, and provide a safe environment. SJCUSY also participates in New Frontier’s regional Weekends throughout the year.

All teens (8th-12th graders) are welcome to participate at our USY events; and pre-teens (6th-8th graders) are welcome to participate in our Kadima events.
