Bar Mitzvah of Ethan Silverstein
Hello, my name is Ethan Silverstein and I am an 8th grader at Yavneh Day School. I enjoy soccer, video games, snowboarding with my brother, and hanging out with my friends. I am excited for my Bar Mitzvah and very happy we can celebrate together.
My parashah is Vayetzei. In this reading, we learn about Jacob working for Lavan for 14 years for his wives, Rachel and Leah, and the trickery that happens in their story.
I’d like to give thanks to Doug Brook for preparing me for my Bar Mitzvah and to Rabbi Berkenwald for helping me with my D’var Torah. I would like to thank my parents for their help and all the driving to tutoring and soccer. I am looking forward to becoming Bar Mitzvah!
Seth and Daniela Silverstein invite you to join their family as they celebrate the Bar Mitzvah of Ethan at Congregation Sinai. Kiddush luncheon, hosted by Seth and Daniela, will follow the service. Please join Ethan and his family for this wonderful simcha. All are encouraged to attend.
