Bat Mitzvah of Sarah Osband

Hello, my name is Sarah Osband. I went to Congregation Sinai’s Nursery School and now I am a 7th grader at Yavneh Day School. I enjoy performing in musical theater and posting YouTube videos on my channel “Sarah and a Camera.”  

I am excited about celebrating my Bat Mitzvah on November 28. My parshah is Vayetzei which focuses on Jacob. It is about Jacob’s dream when the angels go up and down a ladder, Jacob going to his uncle’s house and working for him as a shepherd, and Jacob marrying Rachel and Leah.    

I am honored to spend this special day with my friends, family, and the whole Sinai community. Knowing that we will be together, even virtually, is wonderful. I want to thank my teachers at Yavneh, Camp Ramah and Congregation Sinai, Doug Brook and Rabbi Berkenwald who have prepared me for becoming a Bat Mitzvah. I hope you can join me on my special day!
