Tisha B'Av Morning Service: Sunday, August 7, 9:00 am. Shaharit services in the Sanctuary. Tisha B'Av " the ninth of Av" is the annual fast day which commemorates the anniversary of a number of disasters in Jewish history, primarily the destruction of both temples in Jerusalem. It is regarded as the saddest day in the Jewish calendar.

Tisha B'Av Community Learning and Minchah Service: Sunday, August 7, 1:30 pm. In-person at Sinai. Fast day on which we mourn the destruction of the Temples and the persecution of the Jews through the centuries. Daytime study session and service including Torah Reading, Haftarah and tefillin. Rabbi Berkenwald will teach from texts appropriate for the day.
